A Sunday Thought From the Circle L!

My challenge for you this week:
is bake an extra loaf of bread.

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; an he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
John 6:35

My thoughts this past week have been on Bread.

When making bread, you make sure that all the ingredients are added. Flour, yeast, water, sugar and a little patience is all you need to make a good loaf of bread. If we leave one of the ingredients out of our recipe, the loaf of bread would fail.

Spiritually speaking we need to be making bread every day. For our ingredients we need love, prayer, honesty, kindness, commitment and solitude. We need these ingredients to make a Godly loaf of bread.

I also have learned that if we mix any greed, hate, selfishness, anger, apathy, bitterness, or laziness in our daily bread, then it will fail and we will not have enough to share.

Bread making to me is all about taking life's essential raw ingredients and transforming them into something even more nutritious and sustaining.

I was thinking if we make an extra loaf of spiritual bread, then we can share it with our friends.

All you knead (need) to do is just add the right ingredients.
Give us this day our daily bread.

Happy Tuesday, dear friends.  Have a good 4th of July week.
The Bible is meant to be bread for daily use,
not cake for special occasions.
