Fun Fact Friday~ Did you know?

This week I wanted my Fun Fact Friday to be interesting and fun. I decided to share with you all some helpful tips. Where did I get these tips? Let's just say from Grandma, my Mom, friends and maybe a little trial and error.

So without further addo here they are:

*Cheese-If you store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil, it will stay fresh longer and will not mold!

*Bananas-Pull your bananas apart when you get home from the store. They will ripen faster!

*Hamburger-When cooking ground beef, add water. It helps pull the grease off the meat. Just make sure you drain it off!

*Eggs-Add cream cheese, heavy cream or sour cream to your scrambled eggs, this will add flavor to them.

*Canned Frosting-Whip the can frosting in your mixer. You can frost more cupcakes/cakes. I have also added flavors to the frosting, like almond!!

*Cookies-Want your cookies to stay fresh and soft? Put a couple pieces of bread in the bag with the cookies. They will stay fresh and soft.

*Brown Sugar-Put a couple of marshmallows in your brown sugar bag. Your brown sugar will not get hard.

*Tortillas-Want to make taco shells. Wrap tortillas in a damp cloth or paper towel and microwave for about 30 seconds. Coat the heated tortillas with a cooking spray, then draped each tortillas over two bars of your oven rack. Bake at 375 degrees until crispy, about 8 minutes. These are the best!

*Hard Boiled Eggs- Add a little vinegar to your water when boiling. This will help you when you peel the shells off.

*Bacon- Cook your bacon in the oven. Set your oven at 375 degrees, put your bacon on a cookie sheet. The bacon is so much better and you don't have to worry about all the grease splatting everywhere.

*Chips-If you want to keep your potato chips fresh, put the bags in the freezer. They will not go bad!

*Grease- Put aluminum foil in a bowl, pour the grease in. When it hardens, roll up the foil and throw it out!

Ok, so now I want to know some of your handy secrets.
