My goal as a mom isn't to create a perfect kids, but my goal
is to raise kids that know God.

Today is the day. The last day of school is here and we are ready for some summer time fun.
My Cowboy and I have been working on our summer list of to dos. Along with making our list, I have been thinking about life lessons that we have had this school year.  I have been working on this post for awhile and I thought today was a good day to share it with you all.

What I Want MY Ranch Kids to Know!

Read your Bible and Pray, EVERYDAY!!

You can accomplish Big things by doing little things everyday.
This school year I have preached to the kids, that you have to practice to get better and that you have to set goals. If you move a rock a day, you can build a mansion in no time.

Once you lose trust, it is hard to get it back. Don't lie, be humble, and be genuine.
That is all. Don't do anything to lose trust in your parents, teachers, coaches, and your classmates.

You don't have to be the best to make a difference.

Good friendships and relationships don't just happen. You have look for them, hold on during rough patches and put effort into them.

Be prepared for the future but don't forget that all you can control is your actions today.

Sometimes you will lose so you will learn what you need to win.

Instead of bragging about yourself, give compliments to those around you.

Treat others with respect.

Own your own mistakes, admit when we're wrong and offer an apology with a humble heart.

It's OK to be different.

Hard work never hurt a soul.

Don't ever forget your roots.

Today I am not only sharing these with you, and I am sharing them with the boys. I am excited for what our summer will bring, I am excited to see what God has planned for our family and I am excited to see what God has planned for YOU.

Do you have summer plans? Goals? I would love to hear about them.
